Chhota Mangoa again after three years. In the lap of green hills-forests; Unique peace address in solitude. My favorite hill village and local people.

Temporary relief from urban noise, mechanical noise and unbearable heat. The chirping of countless unnamed birds. Colorful butterflies, various flight of moths. The sweet sound of the always cool breeze outside the house; The body-mind makes a strange noise. Throughout the day, on the slopes of the hills, the clouds, the sun and the rain are all over the forest. What a pleasant satisfaction after the foggy air !! Infinite fascination with the color-form-smell of innumerable wild flowers and fruits, intoxicated mind and soul. The beautiful Teesta flows in your mind far below the pub slope.

In the surrounding villages, in the pine forest, on the path of the tea-garden, on the banks of the Teesta, after three days of wandering in absolute bliss, peaceful entertainment. I crossed Tinchule, Lopchu, Lamahata, Jorbanglo, Ghum, Lepchajagat and went to another unknown forest address.

I visit Chhota Mango at least once a year to enjoy the nature and the company of hardworking, always smiling and talkative people. Talk about rubbing salt in my wounds - d'oh!

Just two and a half hours journey from New Jalpaiguri or Bagdogra to Mahananda Sanctuary, Sebak, Teesta Bazar, Bara Mangoa ....
